Top Drawer

Just got back from helping Elite Exhibitions set up and breakdown the Present Time stand at Top Drawer.

Whilst setting up the stand, Bring Colour artist John Mckeown was asked by Nik Fulton and Tina Murphy from PT weather he could do some illustrations on two of the displays.

Not one to say no, he happily obliged. Sorry about the poor picture quality, didnt have a camera just a friends iphone.

New things.

Well, finished for last year. This year now. First off a little preview of what the new website is looking like. With the new website we have created a Bring Colour page. So if you haven't already, "like it" to keep up with what we're doing.

We were contacted via Facebook because this little fella wanted lightning mcqueen on his bedroom wall.

He was well Chuffed after we popped round!

Supreme Kebabs

We got contacted about painting this guys kebab van, so....

we worked right up until it was possible, finished this little job at 7pm on Christmas Eve.

Christmas @ Alice Stevens School

We've been working with Lisa, the Evolve crew and the kids at Alice Stevens School to produce a Christmas themed installation.

Duckroom.

We were asked to do a feature wall in a nursery for a newborn baby Girl, the Mother wanted quite a darkside wall with black ducks, skulls and crossbones, the Father wasn't sure. They left it up to us, so they got a pink one. Perfect for a little girl.

Henry Chalfant was in Cov @ the Herbert involved in a discussion about graffiti, Dobe was lucky enough to get down there and get his issue of Subway Art Signed.

More fight time.

We got asked to do this little number in a boys bedroom.

Blitz Coventry Issue 01 Launch

Bring Colour were approached by the Herbert Art gallery to be the local involved with there Street Art season. We were asked to organise the launch event and we did so happily.

We got local MC's "Ricta" & "Idyllic" to come down and perform with the help of DJ "Fury", there was live illustration by 8 local artists with a bit of public participation. This was also the perfect event to launch Bring Colour's first publication: Blitz Coventry.

We did 100 ltd edition numbered copies of blitz and sold out in under 3 hrs. The night was ace, and the Herbert was buzzing!

Hedgey's

While we were painting warrior shutter we were approached by a Tattooist who asked us to come down to his new studio and do some artwork.

New Year

We have got a good sized list of things to do for this year...........

Studio, Paint, New website, Exhibition, Blitz no.2, and the list continues with a few things that we are keeping close to our chest!

But first we have a few things to report to put 2010 to rest.
