Get Involved

The CV1 soundsystem decided to dust off the speakers and throw a Christmas Party. The CV1 crew managed to get some old school cov heads back to play, inc. the BOSH lot. We were asked to produce a flyer for the night, Dr. Mills gave us the concept idea that he had "old school", "Colour Artwork on the front", and "Details on the back in black and white". The result is the design above.

Aswell as producing the flyer we also decorated the venue!!

Tip Toes Wall

Bring Colour took part in an event for Dj Tip Toe called Fish, Chips & Mushypeas. We gathered together five key players in the 2nd wave of Coventry Graffiti to produce a memorial wall for Tip Toes 10yr aniversary. Four Tip Toe Pieces by Dobe, Able, Kept, ESone and a mean character by Mr Myers. Wonder how long this wall will last?

Stretchy

Flier design for Club Stretch. A bi-weekly night at The Cellar, Rosie Malones, a building that has some nice size walls that would look great with a brightening up from Bring Colour.

Spot the difference!

Whilst perusing the internet we found this lovely lady standing next to a Bring Colour production we did last May for "Hair Fashion Music Glamour" @ the Warehouse. Dont they have an uncanny resemblance?

Godiva Fest, 09

A couple of years ago Bring Colour set up and organised for a bunch of local artisrts to paint a section of 8 by 4 boards live during the festival. Everyone feels the pinch of the credit crunch even cv1, thus leaving us to paint the gardeners shed this yr. The artists painted the shed with a graphic piece inspired from the Festival logo, who knows what will happen next year?

ELITE! exhibitons

Mac Death!

Don't be fooled by the lack of posts recently! Still alive and up to the usual antics!

Posts will follow of whats been going on, but Bring Colour have learn't a very valuable lesson. BACK UP EVERYTHING!
Returning to the trusted G4, After having a good nights sleep, we came across a major problem.
The Mac wouldn't work, hearts were filled with dread, whys it not working?? wheres all our work?? why didn't we back it all up??
But all wasn't lost!!!
Thanks to another G4, firewire, the internet and a lot of patients, many of hours were spent painstakingly retrieving all of our files back, file by file, it seemed to take forever.
Not something we will be experiencing again!
Lessons were learnt and back up cd's were burnt!

Computer Geeking!

Website=Headache! Haven't been up to much painting recently, getting the website sorted is on the top of the agenda. After two months of endless code bashing and late nights searching for unclosed brackets, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The time has come for Bring Colour to deal with never being quite satisfied and always finding something to change and hand over what we have done to the wizards at Connoserv Media to work their magic. The end is near. The end is near.

Bring Colour paint The Phoenix

For a while there has been talk about "doing something" in 3 empty frames in the garden of The Phoenix Pub, Coventry. Well it has now been done, Artists A.Smith & J.Mckeown have decorated these frames with a pink and blue, bubbley creation that spills onto the wall, will this lead to the whole wall?....... We'll have to wait and see.
